The Emmy Winning Drama Series “Euphoria” Returns For Season 2

  HBO’s teen drama series Euphoria started its broadcasting life in 2019 and it is returning to the screens with its 2nd season. 

  Due to the coronavirus, the shooting of the new season was extended and 2 special episodes were broadcast. The series, which was nominated for 9 Emmys, received awards in 3 categories. Euphoria is actually based on the 2012 Israeli TV series of the same name.

  It is showing the love life and struggle with drugs of 17 year old high school student Rue Bennet (Zendaya) and the people around her. The official synopsis for the new season is as follows: “In the midst of intertwined lives in an East Highland town, 17 year old Rue (Zendaya) must find hope as she balances the pressures of love, loss and addiction.”

  The series, starring young names such as Zendaya, Hunter Schafer and Jacob Elordi, will be broadcast on HBO and HBO Max channel on January 9, 2022.
